2026 Jeep Gladiator in Durham, NC

Jeep
Gladiator
The Only Pickup
You Can Take the Roof Off
The 2026 Jeep Gladiator occupies a category that still has exactly one member: open-air midsize pickup. Built on the Wrangler platform, it keeps the removable doors, removable roof, and fold-down windshield -- and adds a five-foot steel truck bed. New for 2026, an improved quick-release door hinge system makes removing the doors faster and easier than ever.
For Durham drivers who want to run tools and materials to a job site on Tuesday, haul camping gear to Uwharrie National Forest on Saturday, and drive with no doors on a warm Sunday morning along Eno River Drive -- the Gladiator is the only vehicle on the market that does all three without asking you to compromise.
Sport Durst carries the full Gladiator lineup. Call 919-808-4529 or browse our current inventory at the link below.

Every Trim.
One Standard.

One Engine.
Four Ways to Conquer.
Every 2026 Gladiator is powered by the 3.6L Pentastar V6 with 285 hp and an 8-speed automatic -- and every one is 4x4. What changes is how each trim conquers the terrain.
The Rubicon is engineered for slow, technical terrain -- rocks, ledges, deep mud, and maximum articulation. Rock-Trac 4x4 with a 4:1 low-range ratio and a crawl ratio up to 77:1. Front and rear electronic locking differentials. Available sway bar disconnect. 33-inch all-terrain tires standard. It is the Gladiator that takes what the trail throws at it without flinching. The Rubicon X adds premium interior features to the same proven off-road hardware.
- Rock-Trac 4x4 with 4:1 Low-Range Ratio
- Front and Rear Electronic Lockers
- 33-Inch All-Terrain Tires -- Standard
- Steel Skid Plates -- Standard
- Available Sway Bar Disconnect
- Up to 77:1 Crawl Ratio
The Mojave is the only Jeep Brand vehicle to earn the Desert Rated badge -- tuned for high-speed off-road running, not slow crawling. Hydraulic jounce bumpers absorb high-speed impacts over whoops and washboard. Fox shocks are tuned for desert running and sudden compressions. 33-inch all-terrain tires standard. If your off-road is closer to Forest Service road at speed than a rock garden, the Mojave is the Gladiator built for you. The Mojave X adds premium content to the same desert-capable hardware.
- Desert Rated -- Only Jeep Brand Vehicle to Earn It
- Hydraulic Jounce Bumpers for High-Speed Impact
- Fox Performance Shocks -- Tuned for Desert
- 33-Inch All-Terrain Tires -- Standard
- Command-Trac 4x4 System
- Front Skid Plates and Rock Rails

Remove the Doors.
Remove the Roof.
The Gladiator is the only pickup truck in the market with removable doors, a removable roof, and a fold-down windshield. New for 2026, an enhanced quick-release door hinge system makes door removal tool-free and faster than on any previous Gladiator. Driving the Research Triangle with no doors on a warm April afternoon -- or with the soft top rolled back heading west on US-70 -- is an experience no other truck can offer.
- New 2026 -- Enhanced Quick-Release Door Hinge System
- Removable Doors -- No Tools Required (2026 Improvement)
- Removable Roof -- Soft Top Standard on Most Trims
- Available Sunrider for Hardtop
- Available 3-Piece Black Freedom Hard Top
- Fold-Down Windshield -- Available
- Hard Top Standard on Mojave X and Rubicon X
A Real Steel
Truck Bed.
The Gladiator's five-foot steel bed is the feature that separates it from the Wrangler. It measures 60.3 by 56.8 inches with 35.5 cubic feet of volume -- practical for a midsize truck. Integrated tie-downs secure gear without loose hardware. The easy-lift tailgate opens with one hand. A Class IV receiver hitch and trailer wiring harness are standard on Rubicon and Mojave trims -- so towing a camper from Durham to the Blue Ridge is genuinely supported hardware.
- 5-Foot Steel Bed -- 35.5 cu ft Volume
- 60.3 x 56.8-Inch Bed Dimensions
- Integrated Tie-Down Cleats -- Standard
- Easy-Lift Tailgate -- One-Hand Operation

Wash-Out Interior.
Drain Plugs Standard.
The Gladiator's interior is built around the reality of its use. Wash-out floor surfaces with drain plugs are standard -- so hosing out trail mud is a five-minute job, not a detailing appointment. Upper trims add available 12-way heated power front seats and premium materials that make the daily commute down Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd considerably more comfortable. Four USB ports and three USB-C ports -- the most in its class -- keep devices charged regardless of who's in the cab.
- Wash-Out Interior -- Drain Plugs Standard
- Available Heated 12-Way Power Front Seats
- 4 USB Ports + 3 USB-C Ports -- Most in Class

12.3 Inches.
Standard on Every Trim.

Uconnect 5 -- 12.3"
Standard on all trims. The 12.3-inch touchscreen is responsive, weather-resistant, and sized to be readable while wearing gloves on the trail. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard.

Trail Ready.
Road Ready.
The Gladiator is built for trails but drives in traffic every day. Standard and available safety systems keep your crew protected on both.
Backup Camera
Standard on all trims. Useful for reversing a truck bed into tight spots at a job site, navigating trailheads, or backing into parking on Duke's campus. Available with Trailer Hitch Zoom for towing.
Trailer Sway Control
Detects trailer sway and applies selective braking to individual wheels to bring the trailer back in line -- useful when towing a camper on I-40 or heading to Pilot Mountain on US-421.
Electronic Stability Control
Standard on all Gladiator trims. Particularly important on a vehicle that sees off-camber trail situations and wet pavement in the same week, as Durham weather can deliver both.
Forward Collision Warning
Available with Automatic Emergency Braking -- monitors the road ahead and applies brakes automatically if an imminent collision is detected. Available on Sahara, Rubicon, and Mojave trims.
Blind Spot Monitoring
Available with Rear Cross Path Detection. With an open-air body style, some visibility is inherently limited -- the monitoring system covers what you may not see when changing lanes on I-40 or US-15.
TrailCam Off-Road Camera
Forward-facing camera shows the terrain immediately in front of you -- rocks, drops, ruts -- before you drive over them. Available on Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, Mojave, and Mojave X trims.
Eight Trims.
One Open-Air Pickup.
From the work-ready Sport to the fully-loaded Rubicon X. Every one is a 4x4. Every one is Trail Rated. Contact Sport Durst at 919-808-4529 for current pricing.

7,700 lb Gas Towing.
Only Open-Air Pickup.
When properly equipped with the Max Tow Package, the 2026 Gladiator can tow 7,700 pounds -- more than any other gas-powered midsize truck. That's enough for a mid-size camper headed to the Blue Ridge, a ski boat bound for Jordan Lake, or a utility trailer for a weekend project. The Trailer Sway Control system keeps things stable on the highway, and the available Trailer Hitch Zoom camera shows you exactly where the hitch aligns.
- 7,700 lb Gas Towing -- Best in Class
- 1,720 lb Maximum Payload (Sport S, properly equipped)
- Available Max Tow Package with 4.10 Axle Ratio
